I'm Mason Brady
I am the founder of Brady CFO. I have over 12 years of experience of financial management, supply chain, and operations within the food, agriculture, warehousing/distribution, logistics, construction and professional services industries. My extensive background in corporate accounting/finance and operations has provided me with the skills needed to offer first-rate services as a Fractional CFO for small and medium-size business owners.
My education includes a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Fresno Pacific University and an MBA with Honors, with a Concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurship from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain.
I hold various accounting and finance certifications. I am a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Financial Planning & Analysis Professional (FP&A), Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA), and Certified in Corporate Strategy & Competitive Analysis (CSCA).
My Story
I grew up completely immersed in the agricultural and food industry. My family is full of almond farmers and I grew up with good ol' boy upbringing and blue collar worth ethic, but also pursued higher education at top-tier universities. During my youth, I spent time harvesting walnuts to earn spending money, and I learned the value of a strong work ethic. And I love blending my experience of getting my hands dirty along with my passion for financial excellence in business.
But no matter what, I have always had a passion for helping small and medium-sized businesses to thrive in ways that allow business owners to succeed financially while also having the time to create invaluable memories with loved ones. As a family man myself, I understand the importance of needing free time aside from running your business, which can be difficult without having an efficient and accurate accounting team or CFO.
Professional Experience
Much of my professional experience includes working with corporate finances to optimize and facilitate operations and accounting strategies. During this time, I provided hands-on assistance in building organic brands, starting new consumer packaged goods (CPG) and food companies, and even started my own coffee company at one point. I have also helped grow cold storage/warehousing/distribution entities, logistics enterprises, construction businesses, and professional service firms. After spending several years helping companies thrive financially through strategy development, acquisition, and financial leadership, I have gained the tools and connections needed to launch a strategic CFO advisory firm that assists family-owned businesses in organizing their finances in a way that facilitates growth and financial flourishing.
